Rajasthan Police arrested the accused director.

Jaipur: The principal of a government school in Rajasthan’s Barmer district has been arrested for brutality with girl students. Giving information in this regard, the police said that the principal is accused of harassing female students and pressuring them to have “immoral” relationships. The defendants had reportedly promised female students advantages in exams and sports in exchange for “immoral” relationships. The accused was arrested after an alleged audio of a conversation between the director and a student went viral.

Fed up with the principal’s actions, the girls left school.

Villagers said this is not the first time such allegations have been made against the director. He claimed that the director had earlier been accused of similar offences, following which he had apologized in the panchayat meeting. Villagers also protested on Tuesday demanding strict action against the director. She alleged that many girls stopped going to school because the principal had obscene conversations on the phone with the students. The protesters met District Magistrate Tina Dabi and called for strict action to be taken in the case.

It is used to force people into a relationship by promising to give full figures.

On instructions from Tina Dabi, a team from Nagana police station arrested the director on Tuesday. He is accused of forcing female students into “immoral” relationships by promising them top grades and certificates in sports and scouting. The principal is also accused of forcing female students to do “obscene” things over the phone and doing “bad” things by arresting them on the school campus. In the audio recording that came to light, the accused is allegedly heard pressuring a student to have illicit relations.

Student harassed when making a video call during vacation

The villagers reportedly submitted a memorandum to Barmer DM Tina Dabi on Monday afternoon demanding immediate action. Police said that recently the principal allegedly tried to pressure a student into inappropriate relations by making a video call during the Diwali holidays, following which some girls refused to go to school. Meanwhile, Education Minister Madan Dilawar took the incident seriously and called it a “highly condemnable and shameful” act. On the instructions of the Minister, District Magistrate Dabi asked the sub-divisional officer to submit a report on the incident.
