Hisar News (Aaj Samaj) Hisar: The court has found a person who appears to be the grandfather in the relationship guilty of sexually abusing a minor and sentenced him to four years in prison. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the culprit. If the fine is not paid, the convicted person must serve an additional sentence. This decision was taken by the bench of ADJ Vivek Singal. The police registered a case in this matter in June and arrested the accused. On whom the sentence was pronounced today after the charges were proven. According to the information received, a minor of approximately 12 years old told the police that his grandmother was sick. Who was admitted to the government hospital.
She was present in the field with her uncle along with her younger brother. Sube Singh, who seemed to be my grandfather and was working in the field some distance away, asked my uncle to give me water. Then my uncle gave water to me and my brother and sent it to Sube Singh. During this time, the grandfather sent his brother back and sexually abused him. After which the entire incident was told to the family members. The family members then informed the police.
The case was registered under the POCSO Act.
The police recorded the victim’s statement and registered a case under POCSO. After which the accused was arrested. The district court had convicted the defendant on November 14. Now Sube Singh has been sentenced to 4 years in prison.
