The new Activa electric scooter from Honda 2-Wheelers India is a feature-packed electric scooter. The company will launch it in two variants. Its delivery company has said that it will start from February 1, 2025. Initially it will be available in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Later the company will launch it in other cities, because it is also going to develop battery changing stations for these scooters.
Electric Activa will be available in two variants
The company will bring Honda Activa EV in Standard and Roadsync Duo variants. In this, the weight of the standard variant will be 118 kg and the weight of the RoadSync Duo variant will be 119 kg. Different screens and functions will be available in these.

Just like the standard variant, you will get a 5-inch TFT display. It will have limited Bluetooth connectivity and features. While the RoadSync Duo variant will have a 7-inch dashboard, which will give you the facility of turn-by-turn navigation and notification alerts.
You will get a range of 102 km.
As soon as the Honda Activa EV appeared, it became clear that it will have two interchangeable 1.5 kWh batteries. Which will give a total range of 102 km on a single charge. These batteries can be changed at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger battery changing stations. Currently, the company has installed 83 such stations in Bengaluru. While by 2026, there will be around 250 such stations in Bengaluru, giving you the option of changing the battery every 5 km in a radius. The company will start the same work in Delhi and Mumbai.
The scooter will also be available without a battery.
Customers will be able to purchase this scooter without a battery and rent the battery under the Battery As A Service model. However, the company will announce its plans later. These electric scooters will be sold only at Honda’s existing stores, but soon the company will also open a separate concept store just for electric scooters.
Special features made for India
Although many features have been taken in this Honda scooter from its European version CUV e, considering its Indian experience, Honda has added many special features. Yes, its body design is based on the gasoline Honda Activa. At the same time, the company has given a ground clearance of 171 mm. You will get 12-inch wheels. The option of disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear has been offered.
However, due to the replaceable battery, there is very little space left in the trunk. At the same time, the company has also provided a small trunk space at the front, which also has a USB port for mobile charging. This petrol is like the top variant of Activa.
It will reach a speed of 60 kmph in 7.3 seconds
With an exchangeable battery, this scooter will generate a power of 6kW, while the torque will be 22 Newton meters. Its maximum speed will be up to 80 kilometers per hour. While the speed from 0 to 60 kmph will be achieved in just 7.3 seconds. You will get 3 driving modes: Standard, Sport and Economy. There will also be a reverse mode to make parking easier.
