Ambala News | GMN School | Ambala |GMN The Department of Computer Applications and Computer Science today organized a guest lecture on the topic “Current IT Skills” along with Student Progress and Alumni Cell at the university, Ambala Cantonment. Yogesh Arora, a university alumnus and eminent IT professional, was present as the keynote speaker for the programme.
This session was organized to provide students with an understanding of the latest trends and requirements in the ever-evolving field of information technology. The conference began with the welcome of the chief guest. College Principal Dr Rohit Dutt expressed gratitude to the chief guest for attending the programme.
He said this will certainly serve as a cornerstone for students who aspire to pursue successful careers in Information Technology. Yogesh Arora started his lecture by sharing his career journey, inspiring students with his experiences in the IT field.
He highlighted the importance of adaptability in the rapidly changing technology landscape and highlighted several key IT skills that are currently in demand. The interactive session concluded with a question and answer round, where students enthusiastically asked questions on career paths, emerging technologies and industry expectations.
Yogesh Arora patiently answered every question and provided valuable information. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Trupti Sharma, Coordinator of Student Progress and Alumni Cell, who acknowledged the efforts of the Chief Guest in guiding the students.
The conference was really informative and inspired attendees to hone their skills to meet industry standards. Dr. Neelam said that this conference is the need of the hour. Dr. Prableen Kaur, Prof. Shyam Raheja and Dr. Manjeet Kaur played important roles in the successful conduct of the programme.
