Communications Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia.
At the News9 World Summit of the country’s number one news network, TV9, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that this is the first time that not only an Indian media organization but also any media organization in the world, organize such an event on this football field in Stuttgart. The Tv9 network has had a historic beginning. Sport is not a physical activity, but sport builds a team, builds partnerships and builds relationships between people.
India and Germany, which are thousands of kilometers apart, Germany is known for its engineering excellence, we see it in Stuttgart, there is Porsche, Mercedes Benz. India also follows this principle. 70 percent of India’s population is under 35 years of age. We are talking about billions of people, which is more than the entire population of Europe and the United States combined. He said India and Germany can set an example to the world by fostering their relationship.
India has transformed in the last 10 years
Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that in 1920 there were a few hundred people from the Indian community in Germany, today their number is in lakhs. We Indians are showing our strength to the world. India’s capability and Germany’s experience together can present a new example to the world. He said that today 50 thousand students study in Germany, which strengthens relations between India and Germany. The reason for this is the 4 pillars of India. Democracy, demographics, data and demand.
He said India has changed in the last decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. India has achieved everything it could not achieve in the previous six decades. In this transformation of India, if we talk only about telecommunications, in a decade Internet users increased from 250 million to 970 million. Broadband increased from 60 million users to 924 million users. Currently, there are 1.16 billion mobile subscribers in India.

Relations between India and Germany revolve around the exchange of ideas.
Scindia said that Rabindranath Tagore visited Germany several times. He invited thinkers and philosophers from here to visit Santiniketan in India. The relations between India and Germany are relations of exchange of ideas, literature and inventions. Our people are the messengers of these relationships. The people of India are the people who open new doors of cooperation. In the last decade, India has made great achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also raised this issue with them.
Jyotiraditya Scindia said that in this year’s budget, Prime Minister Modi announced the Prime Minister’s Internship Program in the country. In the first year, 1 lakh 25 thousand students will get the opportunity to do internships in large companies of the country. India and Germany together can write a new chapter of global progress. We are a country with the idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).
