Ayurveda is considered the oldest treatment system in medicine. In Ayurveda you don’t just work on your illness but on the causes of that illness. In Ayurveda, the cause of diseases of the body is considered to be the deterioration of the balance of Tridosha. Tridosha i.e. Vata dosha, Pitta dosha and Kapha dosha are found in the body; If any of these doshas increase, different types of diseases arise in the body.
Ayurveda works on the causes of diseases.
Ayurveda considers the body, mind and soul of a person as a complete unit and works on this basis. The mind and body influence each other and together they can overcome any illness. According to Ayurveda, two factors, metabolic and carminative, cause different diseases in the body. Metabolic diseases include diseases such as obesity, diabetes, blood pressure, shortness of breath, fever, cold, and even cancer. While in tuberculosis diseases there is a deficiency of nutrients in the body. Langhan therapy i.e. fasting is used to cure metabolic diseases. Whereas, to cure tuberculosis related diseases, Vrihan Chikitsa is used, in which the necessary nutrition is provided to the body.
