In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, police arrested four accused of committing bank robberies. These defendants had attempted to steal by breaking the shutters of two different banks after learning how to access the bank’s safe through YouTube. Of the four thieves arrested, two are graduates, while two are minors. The police have recovered an electronic cutter, a knife, a gas cylinder, a hammer, a screwdriver and two crowbars used to cut the bank safe.
According to information, in the last five days, the accused had attempted to break into the safe of two banks in Bijnor, but failed due to the resistance of the safe. After this incident, the police intensified the investigation and arrested these robbers while they were planning a robbery at another bank.
According to police, these accused include Karthik and Shiv Kumar, residents of Jamalpur Pathani and Alawalpur villages in Bijnor and both are graduates. The police also arrested his junior associates, while another associate, Dev, is absconding and is being sought.

The defendants said during interrogation that they learned the technique of breaking the safe and the door from YouTube on YouTube. On October 28, an attempt was made to hack the safe of the branches of Bandhan Bank and then on November 3, of Punjab National Bank.
The defendants believed that huge amounts of money could be found in these banks, so they came with equipment such as cylinders and electronic cutters to commit the robbery. The police also seized from the accused an electronic cutter, three blades, a gas cylinder, a hammer and a knife used in the incident.
The police arrested the accused and revealed two major robbery incidents in the bank. The police are now busy searching for other absconding members of this gang and have said that strict action will be taken against all the arrested accused.
