Maruti Suzuki has launched the fourth generation model of its best-selling compact sedan, Maruti Dzire. The starting price of this sedan, which comes in a total of 4 variants, has been set at Rs 6.79 lakh. Maruti has completely redesigned the Dezire after a long time. This is the first car in the company’s portfolio to earn a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
The new Maruti Swift has a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder ‘Z’ series engine. This engine generates a power of 81.58 HP and a torque of 111.7 Nm. The company claims that its manual variant offers a mileage of 24.79 km, the automatic variant 25.71 km and the CNG variant 33.73 km. Maruti Suzuki says this car comes with more than 25 safety features as standard. Let us know which facilities will be available in each variant based on your budget.
