I want to talk review

Abhishek Bachchan has drawn his line. He knows that working on a big commercial film is not particularly beneficial for him. Nowadays no one will make a masala film with him as the lead. For this reason, he has turned to that type of cinema that has value in the library. He is doing well in this too. His recently released film ‘Ghoomar’ is a case in point. Now his other film has arrived. His name is I Want to Talk. This is the image of Shoojit Sircar, who did biopics like ‘Piku’ and ‘October’, hence there were expectations about this film.

With these types of movies, the risk of falling asleep in the cinema remains the same. Because nowadays people don’t like to watch such realistic movies in theaters. He likes to spend extra money on big star commercial movies but likes to watch I Want To Talk on OTT. However, ‘I Want to Talk’ is a movie that keeps you awake. Also try to wake up the sleeping person inside you. Teach to love. Show sadness. It also makes you laugh. It also tries to present the reality of life on screen.

Cancer is also a character in the film.

Abhishek Bachchan is the marketing officer of the film. He arrived and settled in America from India. His name is Arjun. One day, Arjun finds out that he has cancer. And this is not just any cancer, it has spread to many of his organs. The doctors only give him 100 days. But Arjun does not accept defeat. He has to live. Many surgeries are performed. They even remove 95 percent of his stomach. On the one hand he has cancer and on the other he is divorced. His daughter Riya comes to stay with him every other day. At one point his life becomes such that he decides to die.

Baba, what does it mean to die?

The film is not just the story of a cancer survivor. But it is also the story of him as a father. There is a faint flame in his relationship with his daughter. Imagine someone’s daughter asking you: Baba, what does it mean to die? Are you dying? Seeing his bald head, Riya says, Please, could you cover your head while you take me to school? It hurts just to hear it, but who knows what happens to the person who feels it!

Great script – strong treatment.

Now you might feel like we’ve told you the entire story of the movie. But Apna has only told everything that the trailer says. You’ll know after watching the rest of the movie. However, this film should not be seen for the story but for its script. The story is simple. But its script is complex. Ritesh Shah should get full marks for this. But you will have to give an extra number to Shoojit Sircar for the treatment of this film.

rabdi likes

This Shoojit Sircar film is about milk simmering. Which after a while turns red and gives a sweet flavor. If left on fire for longer, it becomes rabri. You just have to put a ladle in it and keep stirring. Shoojit has done the same. He continued stirring the ladle in the saucepan, the milk continued to thicken. The flavor continued to increase. But this process requires patience. Not only the one who makes the rabri, but the one who has to eat it will also have to be patient. Many people may feel that ‘I Want to Talk’ is a slow movie. But life also passes slowly. If you liked Shoojit’s October, you will also like this movie. If the second half could have been edited a little, it would have been more fun. You can’t edit anything in life, but you can make cuts in a movie.

beauty of silence

For example, if a piece of paper has writing all over it, it looks dirty. You have to leave a small blank space. That white space has great importance in the beauty of the writing. Likewise, silence has a great importance in the beauty of a film. I watched ‘Kanguva’ a few days ago, it was so loud it was hard to hear the voices of people nearby. ‘I Want to Talk’ is a completely opposite film. Where you can even hear a man’s breathing. There is no background music for more than half of the movie. Just like it happens in real life. What a beautiful thing, right? Shoojit has roped in Nature as the background music composer for this film.

Irrfan Khan looks like Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan once again proved that he is a very good actor. He has beautifully portrayed Arjun’s mood on screen. We have been given the opportunity to get a glimpse into Arjun’s body and mind. He shouldn’t be praised enough for this role. I wish he had not been Amitabh Bachchan’s son, he would have gotten more recognition in Bollywood, but he got lost somewhere in the shadow of a big tree. But now they themselves are moving towards becoming big trees. At some point, I heard Shoojit say that he saw Irrfan’s reflection in Abhishek. I also felt like Irrfan Khan had transformed into Abhishek Bachchan. Well, Ahilya Bamru, who played Riya, Abhishek’s daughter, has also done a wonderful job. As if everything were real, no action had been taken. Good to see Johnny Lever. In general, everyone’s performance has been very good.

This is a real life story. Therefore, the image is also very close to reality. No attempt has been made to add too much drama to this. If you like slow-burning movies, then this movie is for you. Come see it at your nearest movie theater. Book the ticket brother, what are you doing?
