Mike Tyson spoke about his health problems after his fight against Jake Paul. Tyson told what kind of problems he had to face before this fight. Tyson was actually going to fight Paul on July 20, but the fight was postponed due to the 58-year-old Tyson’s ulcer. Tyson spoke about X after his fight against Jake Paul on November 16 and revealed that he almost died in June.
This veteran boxer revealed that in May he was already quite physically fit. But many times he had to lose everything because of a blood transfusion. The boxer said he had to start his training from scratch. He is proud of everything he accomplished during this process.
Tyson had said in Friday’s post-match interview that he would enter the boxing ring under the right conditions. However, during this post he also hinted at his retirement.
Tyson wrote in this post: This is one of those situations where you lose but you still win, I’m grateful for last night, I don’t regret stepping into the ring for the last time. I almost died in June. He received blood transfusions 8 times. He lost half his blood and 25 pounds in the hospital. Then I had to fight to be healthy for this fight, so I won.
Tyson further wrote in the post: For my children to see me standing in front of a Dallas Cowboy Stadium packed with a talented fighter and completing 8 rounds is an experience that no person has the right to ask for anything more after that. Thank you.

The fight between Tyson and Paul was scheduled for July 20, 2024. But on May 26, Tyson suffered an ulcer during a flight. After this, the match was postponed until November.

However, his return was not memorable. He had to face the 74-78 defeat in the great game against Jake Paul. The judges unanimously declared Jake the winner. Tyson was ahead in the first two rounds, but fell behind in the remaining six rounds. There is a 30 year age difference between Jake and Tyson. Despite being 58 years old, Tyson did not give up until the end.
As it turns out, this was the seventh loss in Mike Tyson’s professional boxing career. Prior to this, Tyson had played his last professional match in 2005 against Kevin McBride, in which he also lost. The match between Tyson and Jake Paul was on November 16 (Saturday) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington (USA).
