Benares: Politics is heating up over Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s statement, “If you fight, you will be cut off.” The effect of this slogan of CM Yogi is being seen not only in UP but also in the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. At the same time, this slogan is also linked to the by-elections to be held in UP. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers have put up a banner near Varanasi’s BHU gate, which is making headlines. Here, on the poster put up by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers, it is written: “If you divide Hindu castes, they will cut you off like Bangladesh.”

Posters near Singh Gate of BHU

Actually, by-elections will be held for nine UP Assembly seats. Political tension has also increased over this in UP. Prime Minister Modi’s parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, is also not immune to this political heat. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has put up a poster just outside the Singh Gate of Kashi Hindu University in Varanasi. On this poster it is written that “If you divide yourself into Hindu castes, you will end up like Bangladesh…the decision is yours.” The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha worker who installed the poster also has his own photograph and name printed on the poster. He has named himself Vivek Singh, Metropolitan Minister of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Varanasi.

Call to Hindus to unite

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Varanasi general secretary Vivek Singh has said that if Hindus are still divided into castes, the country’s condition will resemble that of Bangladesh. He said he supports CM Yogi Adityanath’s statement: “If you fight, you will die.” He said that this sign was put up to give a message to the opposition. Vivek Singh said that I want to give a message to those who believe in Sanatan Dharma and Hinduism that Hindus in India should unite and set an example of brotherhood.
