Congress leader Rahul Gandhi
While speaking at an election rally in Simdega, Jharkhand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a big announcement. He said if we come to power we will remove the 50 per cent limit on reservations. Rahul said we will increase reservations for SC, ST and OBC. OBC reservation will be increased to 27 per cent. There is no participation of Dalits, backward people and tribals in the country.
Rahul said that the Dalit people, backward classes and tribals of the country are capable. There is no defect in you. You can do any kind of work, but your way is blocked. I want 90 percent of the country’s people to participate. But the BJP does not want this. BJP fights brother against brother. The BJP makes one religion fight against another. The Congress leader said that Manipur has been burning for many days, but the Prime Minister has not gone there till date. We will open Muhammad’s shop in the market of hate. Everyone in India will live with love and affection.
Rahul said there are around 50 per cent OBCs, 15 per cent Dalits, 8 per cent tribal communities and 15 per cent minority communities in the country. This population is 90 percent of the total. But in the management of big companies in the country you will not find a person from the OBC, Dalits and tribal classes. The Indian government is headed by 90 officials. These officials make decisions about the country’s entire budget.
Rahul said that today there is a fight between two ideologies in the country. On one side there is the Indian alliance and on the other BJP and RSS. While the people of the Idia alliance protect the Constitution, the BJP-RSS wants to destroy the Constitution. The Constitution is not just a book. It contains the thoughts of Birsa Munda ji, Ambedkar ji, Phule ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji. This Constitution protects the tribals, Dalits, the backward and the poor of the country. Therefore, the Indian Alliance wants the country to be governed according to the Constitution.
Rahul said he will not find the word “forest dweller” anywhere in the Constitution. The framers of the Constitution also used the word ‘tribal’ instead of forest dweller because they wanted to say that the real owners of water, forests and land are the tribals. Birsa Munda ji also fought for the same water, forest and land. Today the fight is to save the Constitution. On the one hand there are those people who call you tribal and respect you. On the other hand, there are those people who call you a forest dweller and want to take away everything that is yours.
