The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notification for candidates applying for NEET PG 2024 for admission to various postgraduate courses like MD, MS, DNB Post-MBBS and Diploma NBEMS. What are the instructions given for NEET PG counseling?

As per the notification, candidates are required to report to the allotted medical training institutes after completing the registration process. It also says that the medical examination will be conducted by the Medical Board. Candidates will be able to enter the course only if they pass this exam.
Guidelines for Deposit Fees
Once you join the NBEMS online portal and complete the registration process, candidates will be required to pay the annual course fees for the first year. Payment for the counseling application can be made online through the official website.

According to the notice, the annual course fee can be refunded to those who choose to upgrade their seat in subsequent rounds, if their initial seat remains intact. However, if a candidate withdraws or does not participate, and the position is not reassigned in the next round, the fee amount will be forfeited. After the counseling processes, the entire application fee will be refunded within six months.
Documentation and incorporation process
Candidates must submit original documents while appearing at their institutes. After verification, they will be allowed to enter the course.
Training date and reporting time.
Candidates will attend NBEMS training within the reporting period of the respective round published by MCC in the counseling schedule. The candidate’s training will begin from the date of joining the NBEMS course. Candidates who opt for the upgrade must begin their training from the date of joining in the upgraded seat.
