The reason for the incident was a dispute over his cell phone addiction and lack of interest in studies. This incident caused a sensation throughout the city. The matter came to light when the police received news of the suspicious death of a school student in Kumaraswamy Layout area. After this, when the police arrived at his house, they were also shocked to see the scene there. The student’s coffin was ready and his family was busy preparing for his last rites. After this, the police detained the body and sent it for autopsy.

According to the post-mortem report, the boy had severe internal injuries to his head and multiple wounds on his body, suggesting that he was brutally assaulted before he died. Police investigation revealed that Ravi Kumar is a carpenter by profession and his son was studying in class 9. The son was not interested in studies at all, so he was very angry with his son. On the day of the incident, a small argument over the manufacturing of a mobile phone enraged Ravi Kumar so much that he picked up a cricket bat and started hitting his son Tejas with it. Even after this, Ravi’s anger did not subside, he threw Tejas against the wall and said, “Whether you live or die, I don’t care.”
Tejas continued to suffer from the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
Tejas fell to the ground and continued to writhe in pain. His condition continued to deteriorate between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., but he was not taken to hospital. According to the investigation, he was taken to the hospital only after he stopped breathing. Where doctors declared him dead.
