Who is Reuven Casper?

Reuven Kasper has been working as marketing and sales director at VfB Stuttgart since January 2022. Born in Mühlacker in 1982, the sports economist worked for several years as “President Asia” of FC Bayern Munich based in Shanghai, China. He was responsible for the management of activities of all German record champions in the Asia-Pacific region. His key tasks included the long-term establishment of FC Bayern Munich among Asia’s leading football brands, as well as the development and expansion of the commercial and football-specific structure in the region.

Prior to this, Casper spent over ten years in various management positions for global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. Additionally, he oversaw marketing, sales and sponsorship at both FC Augsburg and Hamburger SV. Therefore, its national and international network and its experience in the sports business are very high.

Trade is worth 26 billion dollars

If we look at the bilateral trade between India and Germany, in the financial year 2023-24, the trade between both countries amounted to $26.11 billion. According to government data, India’s exports stood at $9.84 billion in the financial year 2023-24. As for imports, it is estimated that their value was 16.27 billion dollars. While in the financial year 2022-23, bilateral trade between the two countries was estimated at $26.74 billion. According to a survey, around 60 per cent of German companies plan to increase investment in India in the fiscal year 2024-25, while 78 per cent intend to increase investment in the next five years. Additionally, it was reported that Germany plans to increase the number of visas for skilled workers from India next year.
