Sister-in-law is hostage
Katihar: In Katihar, Bihar, a woman took her daughter-in-law hostage. It is alleged that the woman is being demanded Rs 10 lakh in order to leave her daughter-in-law. The hostage’s relatives arrived at the women’s police station and asked for justice. The police are currently investigating the matter.

Amanur Khatoon, who came to apply, said his home is Bhim Nagar village in Kodha police station area. He had married his daughter Shefali Khatoon four months ago to Shakeel Ahmed, a resident of Lalbagh village, according to Muslim customs. A week ago his son-in-law Shakeel Ahmed went out to earn money. During this time, her daughter was alone in her in-laws’ house, so three days ago she had sent her son Anwar Alam to her in-laws’ house to bring her daughter. Where his son was returning home to his daughter and grandson.
The woman has been in captivity for three days
Meanwhile, in Raghopur village, his son-in-law’s first wife, Maryful Khatoon, along with her family members, have taken his daughter, son and grandson hostage. Three days have passed since the hostage taking. But he hasn’t abandoned them yet. He had also approached Mansahi police station regarding this matter. But the police took no action; The victim woman later arrived at the police station and filed a request demanding the release of her daughter, son and grandson.
