India plays 11 against Australia in Perth Test: The Indian Test team is currently on a tour of Australia where it has to play a 5-match Test series under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first match of the series will be played in Perth from November 22. But this match will not be easy for the Indian team.
Actually, the Indian team will participate in this Perth Test without captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and fast bowler Mohammed Shami. In such a situation, it can be understood that almost half of India’s 11 players will completely change in the Perth Test.
Rohit-Gil-Shami will not play the Perth Test
Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma recently became a father to a son. In such a situation, he spends time with his family. On the other hand, Shubman Gill got injured during practice. His finger is injured. They have asked him to rest for 2 weeks. On the other hand, Shami has recovered from the injury, but will be able to join the team from the second test.
In such a situation, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will take over the captaincy in place of Rohit in the Perth Test. But the matter will remain stagnant in the opening. Here KL Rahul can come in at the opening in place of Rohit. His other partner will be Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Dhruv Jurel can handle the front in batting
Apart from these, batsman Dhruv Jurel can be included in place of Shubman Gill, who can take the lead at number 5 or sixth. On the other hand, Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant will also have a big responsibility in the middle order.
Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin will bowl spin. While in the bowling attack, Harshit Rana and Mohammad Siraj can be seen taking charge along with captain Bumrah. This way, the Indian team will be able to enter Perth in a new way.
