IND vs AUS: The first match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is played between India and Australia in Perth. Today is the fourth day of the Perth test. Team India is inching towards victory against Australia in the opening Test and meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma also entered the team India dressing room.
Actually, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is not part of India’s team in the first Test match. Because he became a father, he did not come to Australia with the Indian team. Rohit arrived in Australia between the Perth Test. Just a day later, he was seen sitting in the Indian team’s dressing room and enjoying the bowling of the Indian team, the picture of which is now going viral on social media.
The captain entered Australia
Indian captain Rohit Sharma immediately arrived in Perth to practice in the nets after arriving in Perth. Rohit arrived in Perth on Sunday night after taking paternity leave due to the birth of his son. He was seen batting in the nets during Monday’s lunch session, where he faced reserve fast bowlers Navdeep Saini, Yash Dayal and Mukesh Kumar.
The Indian team will travel to Canberra on Wednesday for a two-day practice match starting on November 30. This practice match does not have first-class status. However, this match will be important as it is a day-night pink ball match, which will be important in the build-up to the second Test starting in Adelaide from December 6.
