Team India, which looks in a new and explosive avatar under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, has won another front. After sweeping the series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Team India also defeated South Africa. In the fourth and final match of the T20 series played in Johannesburg, the Indian team defeated South Africa by 135 runs thanks to record-breaking centuries by Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma. With this, team India won the 4-match series 3-1. Sanju and Tilak scored centuries for the second time in this series, but also set the record of scoring centuries in the same innings for the first time. After this, on the back of Arshdeep Singh’s lethal bowling, team India had decided South Africa’s defeat in 3 overs.
Captain Surya won the toss for the first time in this series and decided to bat first. Sanju Samson, who had failed to open the account in the last two consecutive matches, was again saved from being bowled out for 0 in the first over when his catch went close to the sliding fielder. In the same over, second opener Abhishek Sharma had a bit of life in the slips when he missed an easy catch. Even after this, South Africa lost many catches and had to suffer the consequences of it.
