India vs South Africa 4th T20I: Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma put in a stunning performance in the fourth T20 international against South Africa. These players presented an excellent example of batting. African bowlers couldn’t take on these two. It rained runs on the field and team India did wonders by scoring a score of 283 runs. Both players have managed to impress with their batting.
For the first time in India, two batsmen scored centuries together in a T20I match.
This is the first time for the Indian team that two Indian batsmen have scored centuries in a T20 international match. This had not been seen before. Abhishek Sharma opened with Sanju Samson against Africa. Abhishek also scored runs in an explosive style. But he was eliminated with 36 runs. After this, Tilak Verma came to bat at number three. He then batted with Sanju in a manner that is history in itself. Tilak scored 120 runs and Sanju scored 109 runs.
West Indies record broken
By scoring 283 runs, the Indian team has become the highest scoring team in T20 International against South Africa. Before the Indian team, no team had been able to score such a big goal against Africa. India has broken the record of the West Indies, which they had achieved in the year 2023. The Windies team had scored 258 runs in the T20I against Africa in the year 2023.
Apart from this, the Indian team scored its second highest score in the T20 International. Earlier in the year 2024, India had scored 297 runs in a T20I match against Bangladesh. Then, Team India failed to score 300 runs.
