IPL 2025 Auction: Players are being auctioned for IPL 2025. Meanwhile, there has been tough competition among all the teams for Jos Buttler. Anyone would like to include a great T20 player like Jos Buttler in their team, however, the Gujarat Titans team has included him in their team. The IPL auction became quite interesting when there was competition among many teams for Butler. This team has made part of their team for Rs 15 crore 75 lakh. With the arrival of Jos Buttler, his team’s batting will be much stronger.
Rajasthan Royals did not retain
Jos Buttler’s team Rajasthan Royals did not retain him ahead of the IPL 2025 auction and decided to release him. Rajasthan Royals retained six players but Buttler’s name was not included in it. There were reports about Butler that talks could not be had between him and his team about money. Jos Buttler has been in incredible form in the last few IPL seasons and has consistently scored runs for Rajasthan Royals. It will now be interesting to see how his excellent form continues next season.

If we take a look at Jos Buttler’s IPL career, he started his IPL journey in the year 2016 with Mumbai Indians. He has scored 3582 runs in 106 innings of 107 matches in IPL with an excellent average of 38.10 and strike rate of 147.52. Jos Buttler is a great batsman, as well as a wicketkeeper and captain.
