IPL 2025 Mega Auction Players: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 574 players have been shortlisted for this auction. 1,574 players had registered for the auction, but one thousand players were excluded from the final list.

Of the 574 players shortlisted for the auction, there are 366 Indian players and 208 foreign players, which also include 3 players from partner countries. However, for IPL 2025, the 10 teams have a total of 204 players only. This means that of the 574 preselected players, only a maximum of 204 players can be sold. This time a total of Rs 641 million remains in the purse of the 10 teams. The auction will begin at 3:00 PM Indian time.

If you see, in the list of 574 players, there are 81 players whose base price is 2 million rupees. While the base price of 27 players has remained at Rs 1.5 million. Apart from these, players with a base price of Rs 1.25, 1 crore, 75 lakh, 50 lakh, 40 lakh and 30 lakh are also included in the list.

This time, big players like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal will enter the auction. All of them have also been listed for Rs 2 crore. While the list of foreign players includes stars like Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Jos Buttler, David Warner, James Anderson, Trent Boult, Faf du Plessis.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 13, also got a place…

Bihar’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi also bagged a spot in the final list released for the mega auction of IPL 2025. Vaibhav is the youngest player included in the auction list and his base price is Rs 30 lakh. According to ESPN Cricinfo, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was born on March 27, 2011 and his current age is 13 years and 234 days (November 16, 2024).

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 13, plays domestic cricket in Bihar. Vaibhav made his first-class debut in January this year against Mumbai. Vaibhav was fond of cricket since childhood. Vaibhav was born in Motipur of Samastipur district. From the age of five, his father Sanjeev started doing Vaibhav’s practice network. For this, Vaibhav’s father had a network installed at home. Vaibhav then joined the Samastipur Cricket Academy. After this, Vaibhav received training from Manish Ojha at Jesus Academy, Patna.

Anderson, 42, will go to auction for the first time.

The oldest player in this auction is James Anderson. Anderson, 42, kept his base price at Rs 1.25 million. Anderson has not played a T20 match since 2014 and has never been a part of IPL. But this time he has decided to enter IPL. Anderson retired from cricket in July 2024. James Anderson is the fast bowler who takes the most wickets in the history of Test cricket. Anderson had 704 wickets to his name in 188 Tests. Anderson also played 194 ODIs, in which he took 269 wickets, while his T20 International career started in 2007 and he played his last match in 2009. He took 18 wickets in 19 T20 Internationals.

Punjab Kings will have the highest amount of Rs 110.5 crore in the IPL auction. Punjab had retained only two players (Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh) before the auction. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore has Rs 83 crore left in its purse, which is the second highest. Rajasthan Royals will have the lowest purse (Rs 41 crore) in the auction.
