IPL Auction 2025 – IPL Auction 2025: These 3 keepers will create a stir in IPL auction, bids worth crores of rupees can be made – ipl 2025 kl hold list rahul rishabh pant ishan kishan to get big bids in mega auction indian premier league tspo

The player retention list ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction was released on Thursday (October 31). Before the mega auction, a total of 46 players have been retained by the 10 franchise teams. Franchise teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals retained their respective top groups. While Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings will now enter the auction with a new strategy.

Punjab Kings have the highest amount in the bag

Let us tell you that Punjab Kings will have the highest amount of Rs 110.5 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. Punjab Kings had retained only two players (Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh) before the auction. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore has Rs 83 crore left in its purse, which is the second highest. Rajasthan Royals will have the lowest purse (Rs 41 crore) in the auction.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently issued new rules regarding retention. According to this, a franchise can only retain a maximum of 6 players. If a team has retained less than 6 players, then in that case the franchise will have the opportunity to use the Right to Match (RTM) card during the auction. The IPL 2025 mega auction could take place later this month or early December.

The auction will monitor these three goalkeepers

Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan will also make waves in the mega auction of IPL 2025. These three players have not been retained by their teams. Rishabh was the captain of the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024, while KL Rahul was the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants. While Ishan Kishan was part of the Mumbai Indians.

Now these three players can get money in the auction of IPL 2025. The most important thing is that Pant-Rahul-Ishaan are wicketkeeper batsmen. Furthermore, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul also have experience as captains in IPL. Teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are also looking for a captain, so a bidding war may break out in the auction for Pant and Rahul.

Ishan Kishan’s groundskeeping skills are also excellent. But there hasn’t been that much consistency in his batting. Many times he has been losing wickets after being fielded. However, overall no one doubts Ishaan’s talent and he too will be the center of attraction of the mega auction. Some teams need opening batsmen for IPL 2025, like Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings. In such a situation, there may be a tough fight between the teams to buy Ishaan.
