Why did the fight happen?
In fact, Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh, brother of Lok Sabha MP Engineer Rashid Sheikh and MLA from Langate, waved the flag of devolution of Article 370 in the Assembly today. On the banner it was written: “We want the restoration of articles 370 and 35A and the release of all political prisoners.” In protest against which the BJP MLAs stood up and tried to snatch the banner from the hands of Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh. After this, an attempt was made to arrest him and the BJP MLA snatched the poster and tore it, following which a riot broke out. A fight started between the MLAs.
Uproar in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly
During this, there was a fierce fight between the MLAs of the ruling party and the opposition over the tearing of the banner. Both sides grabbed each other by the neck and began to snatch the banners. The MLAs were bent on creating a ruckus regarding Section 370. The marshals started removing one by one the MLAs from both the ruling party and the opposition who were creating ruckus. After all this uproar, the assembly debates have been suspended.

The surprising thing is that when there was commotion in the House, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was there and was watching all the commotion sitting in his seat. The MLAs were creating ruckus and slogans and the Speaker was appealing to everyone to sit in their seats and maintain peace, but Omar Abdullah was still watching all this. After the removal of 370, an assembly session has been convened for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir. During the assembly session there was an uproar over the restoration of Article 370.

Today, Khurshid Shaikh had reached the Assembly with a banner demanding withdrawal of Article 370, against which the BJP MLA expressed opposition. The BJP says the National Conference wants to ruin the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir.
