During this time around 50 shots were fired from both sides. It was reported that both arrested defendants belong to the Landa Group. Both have criminal records. Many cases, including extortion, have already been registered against them.

The police spokesperson said information was received that two senior members of the gang in question were hiding at the encounter site. When the police team surrounded them and asked them to surrender, the accused opened fire on the police team. The police personnel also immediately took a stand and retaliated. About 50 shots were fired from both sides. During this, two police officers were injured. While a gangster was also injured by the bullet. After which both were arrested by the police team. The injured police officers and the gangster were taken to the hospital for treatment. Seven weapons and several cartridges have been recovered from the accused.

BJP leader killed in Sultanpur Lodhi
On Thursday night in Sultanpur Lodhi, some unknown youths attacked BJP Yuva Morcha chief Honey Kumar with sharp weapons. Two of his associates were also present with the BJP leader when he was attacked. All three were seriously injured in the sudden attack. After this, the three were taken to the hospital where doctors declared Honey Kumar dead while the other two youths were seriously injured. DSP Sukhpal Singh said BJP Yuva Morcha leader Honey Kumar was found seriously injured at Dana Mandi late at night. He was taken to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead. In this case, an FIR was registered against the accused and one accused was also arrested.
