Jharkhand Assembly elections: Amit Shah to release BJP manifesto today, challenge opponents

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election manifesto and address three rallies in Jharkhand on Sunday. Shah reached Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, on Saturday night. The BJP said Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the resolution letter for the Jharkhand Assembly elections in Ranchi on Sunday. He will also address three public meetings in Ghatshila, Barkatha and Simaria assembly constituencies during the day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on November 4 and will take part in two public meetings. Following Modi’s visit, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a public meeting in Jamshedpur on November 5. Elections for 81 assembly seats in the state will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20 and counting of votes will take place on November 23.

BJP leaders said Amit Shah may release a document containing 25 main points of the BJP manifesto on the occasion of completion of 25 years of formation of Jharkhand and 150 points to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda. He will also participate in three rallies in the electoral state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on November 4. During this time he will participate in two rallies. After PM Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a public meeting in Jamshedpur on November 5.
