- Demands will be made to the government through the historical fair to be held at Agroha Dham on November 10.
(Jind News) Jind. Agroha Dham state spokesperson and Agrawal Samaj president Dr Rajkumar Goyal said Agroha Dham has been the religious city of Maharaja Agrasen. The faith of the entire country is united with this Dham. Thousands of devotees from all corners of the country come here every year for darshan, but the irony is that this religious city has been a victim of neglect by the central and state governments for a long time. The government should have provided several facilities here but has not made a single one available.
Goyal was speaking to journalists here. Goyal said a national fair will be organized at Agroha Dham on November 10. In which thousands of devotees and tourists from Haryana and surrounding states as well as across the country will participate. Through this fair, the government will be required to grant a special package to Agroha, grant it the status of a tourist destination and connect it with the railway line. Apart from this, it will also be demanded that Agroha be given tehsil status, excavation of the Agroha mound be started, a cancer and trauma center etc. will be constructed.
Goyal says the government should give a special package of crores of rupees to make Dharmanagar visible on the national stage. Agroha Dharmanagari should be given tourist destination status. Goyal also says that Agroha Medical College is situated on the National Highway. There is no trauma center in the surrounding area, so patients lose their lives due to lack of treatment on site. If the government builds a trauma center in Agroha, accident victims will be able to receive treatment there.
The government has announced that it will connect Agroha with the railway line and excavate the Agroha mound. Despite that, no implementation is taking place in both projects. Many years have passed since the announcement of the railway line, while a year has passed since the announcement of the excavation of the Agroha burial mound. The government should, as per its promise, connect Agroha with the railway line at the earliest and the excavation work of the Agroha mound should begin at the earliest. This time, Gopal Jindal, Rajesh Goyal, Deepak Garg, Sushil Singla, Ramdhan Jain, Pawan Bansal, Sawar Garg, Bajrang Singla, Manish Garg, etc. They were prominently present with him.
