Police registered a case of fraud against two people
News from Jind (Aaj Samaj) Jind: The cyber police station has named two persons and registered a case of fraud for defrauding a government teacher of Rs 22.5 lakh on the pretext of investing in the stock market. The police are investigating the case. Amarjeet, a resident of Urban Estate, said in the complaint filed with the cyber station police that he is a teacher in Kandela Public School. On September 1, a WhatsApp message from an unknown number arrived on his mobile phone. The broadcaster introduced herself as Anaya Sharma and stock market expert and talked about the good benefits of investments. In which he was added to a WhatsApp group. This group included new schemes related to the stock market. In the group, Anaya Sharma and Ritesh Jain used to hold online meetings every day and talk about investments and earnings in the stock market. One day a link arrived on his cell phone. Clicking the link downloaded a mobile app called Brandy Speed to his phone.
Identification made in the application
On September 23, an identification was made on the app and he was asked to deposit Rs 10,000. After this they asked him to buy shares. He continued doing everything he said. After this, Rs 60,000 was transferred. On October 21, 50 thousand rupees, on October 22, one lakh rupees, on October 25, 4 lakh 99 thousand rupees were transferred to the said bank accounts. On informing him about higher earnings, he again got Rs 1 lakh 1.4 lakh 99 thousand transferred for the second time and Rs 97 thousand for the third time. Similarly, he was defrauded of a sum of 22 lakh 66 thousand rupees in the name of an investment. The cyber police station has registered a case of fraud against an unknown person.
