The merger of Reliance Jio and Walt Disney’s Disney Star has finally been completed. With this merger, the company has now launched a new entertainment website. The new website is a joint platform of India’s two most popular OTT streaming platforms, Jio Cinema and Jio Hotstar. Now you have a new entertainment option in the form of Jiostar.com.
Let us tell you that after the merger of Reliance Jio and Disney Hot Star, Reliance Industries will hold a 46.82 percent stake in Jiostar.com. While Hotstar will have a 36.84 percent stake and Viacom18 will have a 16.34 percent stake.
All Hotstar content will be available online on Jiostar.com. For this, the company has also published the list of packs on the Jio Star website. The company has divided the entertainment packages into two categories. In this, customers will have a standard definition pack and another high definition pack. Let us tell you that the plans are now available on the website. The most important thing about Jio Star.com is that the package starts from Rs 15 only.
