Security forces arrested a terrorist associate in Jammu and Kashmir in Baramulla district. A rifle, a magazine and other ammunition have been recovered from him. According to information, a terrorist associate was arrested on Sunday along with arms and ammunition from Janbajpora Binnar Road in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

A senior police officer said that based on specific information, a joint team of police and security forces nabbed a terrorist associate on Janbajapoda Binnar Road. He has been identified as Shaukat Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Nagnad Damhal Hanji Pora Kulgam. He said that one AK rifle, one magazine and other ammunition were recovered from his possession. The official said a case has been registered in this regard and an investigation has been launched.
