Senior IPS Kailash Makwana has been appointed as the new DGP of Madhya Pradesh. Current DGP Sudhir Saxena will retire from the post of DGP on November 30. Late in the evening, an order was issued to appoint Kailash Makwana as DGP. The Home Department issued this order as soon as CM Mohan Yadav traveled abroad.
Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation chairman Kailash Makwana will now be the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh. Orders for the appointment of 1988 batch IPS officer Kailash Makwana to the post of DGP were issued late on Saturday night after Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav left on a foreign trip. Kailash Makwana will replace the current DGP Sudhir Saxena, who will retire on November 30, 2024. Kailash Makwana will take charge as the state’s Director General of Police on December 1, 2024.
