On the issue of road safety, a meeting was organized on Tuesday at Police Line Kaithal under the chairmanship of DSP Traffic Sushil Prakash as per the directions of SP Rajesh Kalia to prevent road accidents. In which Meghraj, Narendra of RTO department, Aman, Vijendra of NHAI, Sheeshpal and other employees of PWD department, SHO Traffic SI Rajkumar, Moharra Traffic Police Station HC Sandeep Kumar and other employees participated.
During this, DSP Sushil Prakash gave appropriate guidelines to close illegal roadblocks on National Highway 152 to curb road accidents. DSP Sushil Prakash said that road accidents occur due to drivers suddenly crossing to the other side of the road through illegal road cuts and colliding with speeding vehicles. In which there is the possibility of enormous loss of life and property. Therefore, traffic accidents can be stopped by closing illegal cuts. Apart from this, DSP Sushil Prakash and other employees also inspected National Highway 152 and issued necessary instructions to close illegal roadblocks on National Highway from Kyodak to Shimla village at the earliest.
