(Aaj Samaj), Kalka/Pinjore: The membership drive of the Bharatiya Janata Party is in full swing in the Kalka Assembly. To give more intensity to this campaign, Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma called a review meeting on Friday. MP Kartike Sharma also participated in this meeting. At the meeting, the membership drive was reviewed with all division presidents and councilors. While talking to the media, MPs Kartike Sharma and Shakti Rani Sharma first congratulated the country, the state and the people of Kalka on the 555th birth anniversary of the first Guru. Guru Nanak Dev Ji. And he prayed at the feet of Guru Ji that Kalka remains healthy and happy and that his blessings continue. MLA Shakti Rani Sharma said that in his third phase, Guruji had spent 114 days at the Pinjore Gurudwara and he has come to Gurudwara Sahib with complete reverence. He also informed that our membership drive is progressing at a very good pace and a meeting was called today in this regard in which all MCs, Mandal presidents and people associated with the party participated. MLA Shakti Rani Sharma said that we have achieved the target of getting 250 members in each booth, but we are confident that we will get more members than this target. We are having regular block level meetings regarding the membership drive and a review meeting was held today.
MLA Shakti Rani Sharma said that we are keeping a close eye on illegal mining and will not allow this to happen. The officials have also been given strict instructions in this regard. We have included the elimination of drugs and mining among our priorities. Yesterday the Chief Minister also confirmed it in the Kalka Assembly. We will not tolerate these irregularities. I also participated in the discussion on the Governor’s speech in the Assembly and informed the people of the state about the achievements of the government and the work we are doing to eliminate drugs and mining in Kalka Halke.
MP Karthikeya Sharma also congratulated everyone on this auspicious occasion of Gurupurab and said that this day has great importance in the lives of all of us. He said that all the issues included in the resolution letter have been mentioned, be it the Seven A issue or any other issue, discussions have also been held with the Chief Minister on all issues. There is a different process for each issue, many issues will be approved by the Cabinet and many issues will be discussed in the House. We will not allow illegal mining and drugs to spread in our state at any cost. The Chief Minister made it clear in the Assembly and Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma also made it clear in her speech. We will fulfill the promise we made to Kalka and the Chief Minister is also sensitive to this promise. We also appeal to the media and the general public that if they have any information regarding this issue, please inform us or the government people, immediate action will definitely be taken in this regard.
