He said his grandmother lived a simple life, but despite limited resources, she provided a good education to all her children and also inspired her daughters to be self-reliant. Kangana wrote in her post that her maternal grandmother, Indrani Thakur ji, raised 5 children and paid a lot of attention to their education and career.
During that period, their married daughters were also encouraged to pursue careers, and their daughters remained in government positions, which was a difficult feat in those times. Kangana also shared that her grandmother had a great personality, her physique, health and energy were unique among everyone.
He said that just a few days ago, his grandmother was cleaning her room when she suffered a stroke, so her health suddenly deteriorated and she had to go to bed. Kangana wrote that her grandmother was a woman who led a wonderful and inspiring life, who will always be remembered in her heart and family. Kangana’s mother Asha Ranaut is a public school teacher, while her father is into business and farming.
