Candidates from all parties are working hard for the UP Assembly by-elections. The candidates do not want to spare any effort to win. In this episode, a different style was seen from SP (Samajwadi Party) candidate Naseem Solanki from Sisamau seat in Kanpur. She was seen worshiping at the Bankhandeshwar temple.

On the occasion of Diwali, Naseem Solanki lit a lamp near the Shivalinga located in the Bankhandeshwar temple. After Jalabhishek was at the temple late at night, he touched the Shivling and offered prayers and worship. During this time all his followers were present. Let us tell you that Naseem Solanki is the wife of former Sisamau MLA Irfan Solanki. By-elections are being held for the seat that fell vacant after Irfan went to jail, in which the SP has expressed confidence in Irfan’s wife Naseem. Naseem Solanki was emotional after receiving the fine.

We inform you that voting for the UP Assembly by-elections will be held on November 13, while the counting of votes will be held on November 23. The Election Commission had announced by-elections for 9 UP seats on October 15, in which Milkipur (Ayodhya) was left out due to the ongoing court case.

Why are by-elections held in Sisamau?

It may be noted that by-elections will be held in Katehri (Ambedkar Nagar), Karhal (Mainpuri), Mirapur (Muzaffarnagar), Ghaziabad, Majhwan (Mirzapur), Sisamau (Kanpur Nagar), Khair (Aligarh), Phulpur (Prayagraj) and are taking place UP seats in Kundarki (Moradabad). Of these, 8 seats fell vacant after the MLAs were elected as MPs, while by-elections are being held for the Sisamau seat due to the disqualification of SP MLA Irfan Solanki. Irfan was convicted in a criminal case.

It is known that after delimitation, the first assembly elections were held in Sisamau in 2012. SP continues to win from here. There are more than 2.5 lakh voters in this seat, of which Muslim voters account for around one lakh. At the same time, the number of Brahmin and Scheduled Caste voters is around 50,000-50,000.
