Karnal News (Aaj Samaj) Karnal: The body of a watchman was found in suspicious circumstances on the roadside near Gogripur village bus stand. Deep wound marks were found on the guard’s head. The causes of death have not been revealed. The police took the body into their custody and sent it to Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal. The police handed over the body to the relatives after the autopsy. The deceased has been identified as Balindra Singh, 55, a resident of Gogdipur. According to his relatives, he was a town watchman and worked at night. This morning the guard’s body was found bleeding on the side of the road near the base.
Following the information, the police arrived at the scene. Village Sarpanch and his relatives Rajbir said that when he approached the body, the watchman was lying dead. Deep injury marks were found on his head. It is not known whether the security guard was hit by a vehicle or killed by someone, but the matter must be investigated impartially. Rajbir said that Balinder’s wife had also died a few years ago. The watchman has only one son. First the mother had died and today the father also left this world. A mountain of pain has fallen on the family.

Madhuban police station investigating officer Lachhman Singh said the body of the watchman has been recovered. Head injuries have been found. The body was detained and sent for autopsy.
