Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2025 Full Squad: The performance of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the IPL 2024 season had created a different kind of fear among all the other teams, however, despite reaching the finals, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team could not retain the title. Before the mega auction of IPL 2025, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team had retained a total of 5 players, which apart from captain Pat Cummins, included the names of Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen and Travis Head. After this, his same aggressive strategy was seen in the auction, where he also managed to make Ishan Kishan a part of his team.
Hyderabad spent the most on Ishan Kishan and Shami
The two players on whom Sunrisers Hyderabad spent the most out of their purse in the IPL 2025 mega auction were Ishan Kishan and Mohammed Shami. To make Ishaan a part of their team, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team spent Rs 11.25 crore and included him in their team. Ishaan was part of the Mumbai Indians team last season, but the franchise did not sign him before the mega auction. Apart from this, Mohammed Shami, who was previously part of the Gujarat Titans team, will now be seen playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the upcoming season. Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise made Shami part of their team for Rs 10 crore.
Rahul Chahar and Harshal Patel will also appear in the Hyderabad jersey.
Harshal Patel, also known as Purple Patel in IPL, will also be seen in the Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey in the IPL 2025 season. Sunrisers Hyderabad made Harshal Patel a part of their team by spending Rs 8 crore. Apart from this, Sunrisers Hyderabad also included Rahul Chahar, whose last IPL season was nothing special, in their team for Rs 3.20 crore.
