Where is this temple?
This temple is located in Harishchandragarh, a hillfort in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. Its name is Kedareshwar Cave Temple. Along with the otherworldly beauty of this temple, its mystery has been attracting people for years.
The structure of this temple is very mysterious. It is said that anything needs at least four legs to stay upright. But this miraculous temple has stood on a single pillar for years. This temple is said to have been built by the Kalachuri dynasty in the 6th century. But the caves of the fort were found in the 11th century.

four pillars and four eras
Actually, four pillars are seen in this temple. But only one pillar is connected to the ground, the rest is already broken. These temple pillars are believed to represent four eras. Like: Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapar Yuga and Kali Yuga. The cave is located on one of these pillars because three of them have fallen. It is believed that if the last pillar breaks, the world will end. Apart from this, there is also a belief that these pillars keep changing their height according to the changing times.
Miraculous Shivalinga and water.
This temple not only has miraculous pillars but also the Shivalinga here is formed naturally. This temple is built inside the fort at a height of approximately 4671 feet. There are three caves near the temple and in the right cave, a 5 feet Shivalinga is situated amidst icy water. People say that in summer the water here becomes as cold as ice. Right there. In winter it turns into warm water. It is also believed that by immersing yourself in this water one is freed from all sins and sufferings.
