In a town of Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh, people gasped when a monkey picked up a seven-month-old girl sleeping inside the house and took her away with it. The monkey kept the innocent child with him for about half an hour. When the mother saw the monkey taking her daughter, she started screaming. People gathered after hearing the mother’s voice. Somehow, the monkey escaped, leaving the innocent child behind. The innocent child has suffered minor injuries.
According to information, this incident took place in Vijaypur city under Kishanpur district police station area. Where Durgesh Gupta lives with his family in front of the petrol pump. Durgesh had left home to go to work and in the afternoon his wife Suman put their 7-month-old daughter Gungun to sleep in the yard of the house and started doing household chores. While Gungun was sleeping, a monkey came down the stairs from the roof and came to the courtyard. Before Suman could understand anything, the monkey took Gungun and walked out the door.

Suman ran after the screaming monkey to save her daughter. Suman ran after the monkey with a brick. The monkey ran away from them into the fields behind the house with the girl. The monkey moved forward a little and sat under an acacia tree. Meanwhile, people gathered after hearing Suman’s voice. The people surrounded the monkey near the acacia tree. People tried to scare away the monkey by throwing stones and making noise. People continued to worry for half an hour. Finally the monkey ran away, leaving the innocent girl under the tree.

Durgesh Gupta said he immediately took his innocent daughter to the hospital where she was treated. He said he has a shoulder strain and also some other scratches. However, the girl’s health improves slightly after treatment. The innocent girl continued crying for half an hour and the family members were left breathless. Villagers said that the monkey menace is continuously increasing in the entire area.
