In the IPL 2024 auction, KKR bought their first player – Venkatesh Iyer. KKR spent money like water for Iyer. This player got Rs 23 crore 75 lakh. Venkatesh Iyer has been associated with KKR since 2021. He debuted with this franchise but this team could not retain this player. However, KKR did not let Iyer go to the auction. KKR bought their second player: Quinton de Kock. De Kock got Rs 3 crore, 60 lakh. Gurbaz also returned to the KKR team for Rs 2 million.
