Kripalu Maharaj’s daughter dies in road accident
Vishakha Tripathi, eldest daughter of Kripalu Maharaj, founder of Prem Mandir in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, died in a road accident. This road accident took place near Noida on Yamuna Expressway on Sunday morning. Seven other people, including his two sisters, were seriously injured in this incident.

Ajay Tripathi, the chief disciple of Kripalu Maharaj and chief servant of Prem Mandir, said that the three daughters of late Jagatguru Kripalu Maharaj were leaving for Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at four in the morning to go to Singapore. Meanwhile, on the way to Noida, a tanker truck coming from behind at full speed crashed into their cars.
7 people seriously injured
He said eight people, including Kripalu Maharaj’s daughters Vishakha Tripathi (75), Krishna Tripathi and Shyama Tripathi, were injured in this accident. He said Vishakha Tripathi died on the spot after some time.
Treatment performed at Apollo Hospital, Delhi.
His two younger sisters are seriously injured. Both have been admitted to Delhi’s Apollo Hospital. He said his condition is said to be very critical. Other injured people are also receiving treatment in hospital.

Ajay Tripathi said that the last rites of late Vishakha Tripathi will be performed only in Vrindavan. Jagatguru Kripalu Maharaj and his family are originally residents of Mangadh (Kunda) in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Vishakha Tripathi used to look after the ashram located there, while her two younger sisters looked after the temples located in Vrindavan and Barsana respectively.
