- Inauguration of Sri Akhand Path Sahib at Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Pehli today, the big city kirtan will be decorated on the 14th

The Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj Ji will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm from November 13 to 15 at the historic Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi I, Kirmich Road and the historic Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhathi, Dharmanagari. The Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has completed all the preparations for this conclave. This information was provided by the organization’s spokesperson, Kawaljit Singh Ajrana.
He said employees have been put to work for the event. In connection with Prakash Utsav, the Akhand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj will begin on the morning of November 13 at Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Pahli. The organization’s deputy director Bibi Ravinder Kaur and representatives of different religious groups in the city will participate in the opening ceremony.
He said that after the offering of Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji on November 15, there will be a Kirtan Samagam at the historic Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Chhathi. Prior to this, on November 14, Mahan Nagar Kirtan will be organized under the patronage of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and the leadership of Panj Pyaras. A large number of Sangats from across the district will participate in this grand kirtan of the city starting from Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi 1.
This Nagar Kirtan passes through Kirmich Road, Chanarthal Road, Dhillon Colony, Akash Nursery, Gobindgarh, Salarpur Road, Railway Road, Kutiya Wali Gali, Gulzari Lal Nanda Marg, Ambedkar Chowk, Chhota Bazaar, Sikri Chowk, Shastri Market, Birla Mandir Chowk. Gurdwara Sahib will be closed late on Patshahi Chhathi night.
According to the spokesperson, the religious diwan will be decorated at Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhathi on November 15, in which Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Tarsem Singh, Bhai Sukhjit Singh Hazuri Ragi Jatha Sri Darbar Sahib, Bhai Malinder Singh Hazuri Ragi, Bhai Beant Singh Head Granthi Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhathi, Bhai Harkaran Singh Granthi, Bhai Jagseer Singh Hazuri Ragi Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhathi, Bhai Suba Singh Hazuri Ragi, storyteller Bhai Gurdas Singh will connect the Sangat with Gurbani and Sikh history. Along with this, on November 15, Amrit Sanchar will be organized at the historic Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi VII, in which animals will drink Amrit and be decorated as Gursikhs.
