Kurukshetra News (Current Society) Kurukshetra: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said the state government is continuously working to promote democratic principles through its progressive social and economic policies and programs in accordance with the basic spirit of the Constitution. The Haryana Government is committed to realizing the vision of Integral Human Philosophy and Antyodaya of the great philosopher and politician of modern India, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, following the concept of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas. The Chief Minister today addressed the Constitution Day function organized at the premises of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the exhibition organized by the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture on the occasion of the Constitution Day celebrations.
Congratulating and extending best wishes to all countrymen on Constitution Day and to Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution, the Chief Minister said that today is a day of special pride and glory for all of us. The Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution is being celebrated across the country today. The Constitution was adopted by the country’s Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949. This is the day the Constitution was prepared. The significance of Constitution Day is to increase the feeling of respect for constitutional values among the citizens of the country.
Youth power raises its flag
The Chief Minister said that today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is continuously strengthening its ancient ideals and the spirit of the Constitution as the Mother of Democracy. Be it sports or startups, IT or digital payments, youth power is raising its flag across all dimensions of India’s development. He said iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had fulfilled the freedom fighters’ dream of a united India by unifying the princely states.
Similarly, Prime Minister Modi has fulfilled the unfulfilled dream of a united India by removing Articles 370 and 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir. This is a true tribute to the architects of the Constitution, Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. With this the dream of a legislation, a symbol, a constitution and a head has come true.
