On Friday, the second day of the Bihar Lakhisarai Children’s Film Festival, Agriculture and State Cooperation Minister Prem Kumar participated at the museum located in Balgudar of the district. The Minister praised district officer Mithilesh Mishra for organizing the Children’s Film Festival in Lakhisarai district. It is a matter of pride for Lakhisarai district to organize the Children’s Film Festival.
The theme of the Children’s Film Festival is Nipun Bharat (National Initiative for Reading Mastery along with Numeracy) and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. This is a unique initiative by Lakhisarai district administration to increase creativity, passion for reading and creativity among children through this theme.
The organization of the Lakhisarai Children’s Film Festival began on November 14 and will conclude on November 16, National Press Day. The Children’s Film Festival is organized in two important theaters of the city, Raj Cinema and Mahadev Theater and in the auditorium of Lakhisarai Museum.
On Friday, the second day of the film festival, the films Lagaan, The Silent Echo, Baaraat and Andaman were screened at the Lakhisarai Museum auditorium. The films Lagaan, Bittu, Kasturi, Baraat and Andaman were screened on Mahadev Talkies. The films Lagaan, Rang, Baaraat and Shera were screened at Raj Cinema.
Students from government schools, private schools, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, etc. participated in the film festival. On the second day of the Children’s Film Festival, district officer Mithilesh Mishra also enjoyed watching the film. District Public Relations Officer, Arts and Culture Officer, Director of District Rural Development Agency and other district level officials were present at this film festival.
