The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has extended the last date to apply for 1,088 police posts. Earlier, the last date to apply was October 31, which has been extended by 12 days. In such a situation, the candidates who have not yet applied. They can visit the official website of the Commission, hppsc.hp.gov.in and fill the application form until November 12.
Of the total posts, there are 708 posts of male police constable and 308 posts of female police constable. Candidates can apply for these posts on or before the last date as per the detailed notification issued earlier by the Commission. For the first time, recruitment for police officer positions is being carried out by the Commission.

It is mandatory for candidates, male or female, applying for police posts to have passed 12th rank in any recognized board. The applicant’s age must be between 18 and 26 years old. Reserved category applicants have also had the maximum age limit relaxed as per government norms.

HPPSC Police Constable Recruitment 2024: How will the selection be done?
Applicants for the posts of Police Constable will be selected through PET, written examination and document verification. Candidates who pass the physical test will appear in the written exam. The exam date has not yet been announced.
