The reaction of leaders to the exit polls
The assembly elections held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand have already ended. Exit poll figures were released ahead of the results. The BJP-led alliance is expected to win a majority in Maharashtra, while many exit polls have given the lead to the Indian Alliance government in Jharkhand. At the same time, leaders of all political parties have reacted to these departures.
Sharad Pawar’s party leader Clyde Crasto says: “These are exit polls, we saw what happened in Haryana.” The exit polls show one thing and the final results are another. The truth is that the basic reality is different. Here we are the people at the grassroots level, we understand what is happening here, what we have seen so far is a fight for equality. The people have voted, let’s wait until the 23rd.
