Dr Rajesh Wadhwa Kuruksetra. Brahma Mandir Jai Omkar International Sevashram Sangh, located on Amin Road, organized a grand organization of Rath Yatra of Lord Shri Brahma. In the program organized on the occasion of Kartik Purnima, devotees pulled the chariot of Lord Brahma for religious benefits and prayed for the well-being of all.
Praises of Lord Brahma resounded throughout the day in Dharmanagar. Devotees from different states reached Dharmanagari in the program organized in the presence of Sangh founder Swami Shaktidev Ji Maharaj and Swami Santosh Okar Ji Maharaj. Yagya was organized in the morning.
After this, with ritual chanting of mantras, Lord Shri Brahma Parivar was anointed with milk, adorned with beautiful clothes and installed in the chariot with a conch shell. Devotees from all over participated in the event with devotion and pulled the chariot for religious benefits.
Under the leadership of Sangh President Swami Sandeep Omkar, everyone pulled the chariot of Lord Brahma, bowed their heads and prayed for the well-being of all.
Lord Brahma Rath Yatra started from Jai Omkar Ashram, after this it reached Amin Road via Rajesh Pilot Chowk, 100 Foot Road, Salarpur Road, Railway Road to Gurudwara Chhathi Patshahi, Bus Stand to Shraddhanand Chowk, Kutiya Road to Railway Colony .
Devotees received him with flowers in various places. Political, social people and administrative officials also participated in the yatra and obtained religious benefits. On this occasion, Jai Omkar Ashram director Pandit Shiv Narayan Dixit, lawyer Jai Narayan Dixit, Hariram Sharma, etc. were present.
The women decorated the urn on their heads, the cart remained the center of attraction.
There is also a tradition of carrying a Kalash on the head during the Rath Yatra for the happiness and prosperity of the family. With this objective, 1100 women carried Kalash on their heads and circumambulated Dharmanagar while walking with the Rath Yatra. 52 paintings were included in the Rath Yatra. In which Lord Brahma’s chariot was the center of attraction. The paintings included all the incarnations of Mother Cow, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, nine forms of Durga and other paintings.

Swami Shaktidev Maharaj, while inspiring the devotees, said that Kartik Purnima is a special day of Lord Brahma. We should especially attend this festival and have darshan of Lord Brahma’s chariot. The creature who pulls the chariot with devotion receives special blessings from Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe.
