(Kurukshetra News) Kurukshetra. Former Minister of State Subhash Sudha said that Lord Vishwakarma has taught the universe the art of living life. In ancient times, when the universe was being created, the architect Lord Vishwakarma did the work of imparting knowledge of writing and craftsmanship to humanity. Vishwakarma Samaj has played an important role in nation building.

The former Minister of State was speaking as chief guest at the Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrations organized by Dhiman Brahmin Panchayat Sabha located on Railway Road on Saturday. The program was chaired by Dr. Kartar Dhiman, Vice Chancellor of Shri Krishna Ayush University. Arriving at the function, Pradhan Sundar Lal Dhiman welcomed the guests by giving them a bouquet of flowers. The ceremony began by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Lord Vishwakarma.

He said that craftsmanship and technical skills were inherited from Lord Vishwakarma. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has kept workers and labor in a paramount position to make the country self-reliant. The BJP has decided to promote the neglected sections and castes of the society. Not only this, the state government has started Shri Vishwakarma Skill University to promote skills, in which not only the skills of the youth are being developed but work is also being done to improve them.

While paying homage to Lord Vishwakarma, he said that Lord Vishwakarma does not belong to any caste. All the craftsmen who build spire boats and hut palaces are descendants of Lord Vishwakarma. In the current mechanical age, education has become very important for people doing manual work, so the leading citizens of the society should put emphasis on education. The current state government has opened the doors for capable children from all sections of the society to advance by providing jobs in a transparent manner.

Children from families belonging to poor and backward communities have also reached the Haryana civil services and other high positions through their hard work. On this occasion, retired DSP Rajkumar Dhiman, retired director Ishwar Chand Dhiman, general secretary Rajkumar Dhiman, treasurer Balram Dhiman, former director Khushwant Dhiman, Tarun Dhiman of OBC Morcha and Kavi Bajaj were prominently present.
