Aurangabad West Assembly Elections 2024: Aurangabad West assembly seat is one of the 288 constituencies of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. It is the 108th constituency of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. This seat in the assembly is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The Aurangabad West assembly headquarters is located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. It is part of the Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency. The 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on November 20. Voting will also be held in Aurangabad West Assembly seat on the same date. The election results will be announced on November 23.
Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde), Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are the main parties in this seat. Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Pandurang Shirsat currently represents the Aurangabad West seat and was elected from the Aurangabad West constituency in the 2019 assembly elections.

Talking about the 2019 Assembly elections, Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay Pandurang Shirsat won this seat by a margin of 40,445 votes (20.57%). He received 83,792 votes with 42% of the vote. He defeated independent candidate Raju Ramrao Shinde, who received 43,347 votes (21.72%). AIMIM leader Arun Vitthalrao Borde stood third with 39,336 votes (19.71%), while VBA candidate Sandeep Bhausaheb Shirsa stood fourth with 25,649 votes (12.85%).
Status in Aurangabad West Assembly seat in 2014
Talking about the 2014 assembly elections, Congress leader Abdul Sattar Abdul Nabi won this seat. He received 96,038 votes with 45.76% of the vote. BJP candidate Suresh Pandurang got 82,117 votes (39.13%) and came second. Nabi defeated Pandurang by a margin of 13,921 votes (6.73%). In this assembly seat, Shiv Sena candidate Meerakar Sunil Prabhakarrao stood third with 15,909 votes (7.58%), while MNS candidate Kale Deepali Madhukar stood fourth with 3,465 votes (7.58%). 1.65%).
