Mumbai: Actor-turned-politician Govinda’s health deteriorated during the election campaign on Saturday. He was campaigning for Mahayuti candidates in Muktainagar, Bodwad, Pachora and Chopra in Jalgaon. According to a report in the Times of India (TOI), Govinda suffered chest pain when he was on a tour in Pachora. After this he was admitted to the hospital.

According to information, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Govinda was touring Pachora in favor of the Mahayuti candidates. During this time, he returned to Mumbai after feeling unwell. Due to health problems he had to suspend the program midway. During the tour, Govinda urged the crowd to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi and vote for the ruling alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena and the NCP.
